Tune in Friday for this beautiful story!

Angela Aki, gifted pianist and singer, has profoundly impacted Japanese youth with her song “The Letter” (Tegami). People of all ages are drawn to Angela’s sell-out performances at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan. This theatre seats 14,201 and was the site of the Japanese debut of The Beatles. Tegami is a song about a youth who writes a letter to her older self in the future. Lyrics featuring interchange between the young writer and the “older” self have been a catalyst for discussion and encouragement throughout schools and in many venues across Japan. It has especially impacted the mid-teen youth for which it was written. Without hearing the words in English, one can still experience the passion of the song by simply watching this video. Tune in Friday to hear Angela’s mother, Amy, tell the phenomenal story of how this song came to be. God can truly exchange beauty for ashes!

Men and Women of the Tombs

We can have blood coursing through our veins, but not really be living. Being alive without true inner freedom is a sort of prison – the worst sort. Sometimes we get used to prison. Maybe we grew up in “prison.” Maybe we don’t even notice where we are chained. The message of God’s ability to break chains of bondage is so powerful, amazing and good, that I hope you will tune in today to learn more about The Magnificent Plan for your life…the plan to live completely FREE!

Only God's Truth Heals

Yes, we’re back on the very important subject of truth! “Our” truth comes from life experience. God’s truth is eternal and unbiased. He makes no errors in memory and never distorts the facts. God’s truth has certain hallmarks: it is encouraging, empowering, healing and penetrating. Without God’s truth as a foundation, our truth can leave us handicapped and broken (in places unseen). Who doesn’t need the truth that can free us? A freed life is a healed life! The healed life is a powerhouse for God!

Scrutinizing Self-Talk

“I’m an idiot!”, “I can never make up my mind!”, “What a jerk!”, “I’m not too bright”, “I’m can’t think anymore”, etc., etc., etc. I’m sure YOU have never said such things to yourself! Well, maybe you have… you wouldn’t be alone. Why are we so unkind to ourselves? Is this ok with God? What does He have to say about us? It’s time to “line up” with our maker.

What is Truth?

There is more than one truth, depending on how you look at things. Sometimes we say that there isn’t an absolute truth, because we look around and see how several different people can experience or interpret the same set of facts differently. So who is “right?” This kind of truth is human truth. Our own truth is useful, but thankfully, there is an absolute truth that is greater than our own. Our own truth seen in the light of God’s truth results in freedom - in every conceivable way. Praise Him all heaven and all earth!!
